AUTUMN OAT GROATS

Ingredients
- 2½ cups water
- ½ tsp ground clove
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ⅓ cup currants, raisins, blueberries
- ¾ cup Oat Groats (steel cut)
- ⅓ cup oat bran (optional)
- ⅓ cup walnuts
- Topping
- 1-2 Tbl coconut milk or sprinkle coconut flakes
- 1 tsp maple syrup (only the kind from trees!
- A shake of cinnamon
Instructions
- Bring water, spices and fruit to a boil. Add oat groats, bran and nuts, bring to a boil, then cook 20-30 minutes, on low heat. Add more water if necessary. Add toppings. Eat slowly, if possible!
