Almond Milk
Recipe type: Nut milk for soups, shake and smooties

Ingredients
- 1 cup of raw almonds, soaked for 3 hours in purified water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder or extract
- 1tsp maple syrup
- 3 cups water
Instructions
- Ideally, soak nuts for two hours in water and drain the nuts.
- Place in blender with vanilla powder or extract, sweetener and 3 c water.
- Blend til smooth - 1-3 minutes, depending on your blender and desired consistency
- Strain. Cheescloth or nut milk bags work great.
- Store in refrigerator. Use within 2-3 days.
