Golden Turmeric Milk

This is a delicious, warming milk that can be adapted to ingredients that you like. It can be made with any type of nut or seed milk, or with coconut milk. You can add ginger or other spices according to your taste buds!
Ingredients
  • 2 cups of coconut, almond or flax milk (or other milk of your choice)
  • 1 tsp of Ghee or Coconut oil
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder or fresh turmeric
  • 1 inch of ginger, sliced or grated
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to small saucepan.
  2. Whisk together.
  3. Heat over medium heat until it starts to bubble.
  4. Turn down to low heat and let it cook for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Pour through strainer, sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and enjoy!
